Backcountry Hiking in Ontario
Twelve of Ontario’s provincial parks feature backcountry trails that are up to 100 kilometres (60 miles.) in length. Watch the wonders of nature unfold as you hike along scenic cliffs, coastlines and peninsulas, cobblestone lakeshores and rugged terrain. Trek high ridges, deep valleys and lakes rimmed with century-old pine trees. Along the way you’ll be able to immerse yourself in Ontario’s history and see firsthand the shifting face of our landscapes.
